Manila, Philippines – Women's Month got its best send-off yet and it happened last March 13. City Girls, a celebratory run curated for the modern Filipina, bringing together over 100 women ready to move, connect, and show up for themselves. Hosted by Club1630 (@club.1630) and &you, the event was more than a race, it was a declaration that women's wellness is worth celebrating loudly, together, and in great company.

A Runway and a Run Lane
The energy at the start line was electric. Attendees arrived not just to run, but to be part of something bigger, a community of women who believe that taking care of your body is an act of pride, not obligation. From first-time runners to seasoned athletes, welcomed every pace, every level, and every story. Adding a touch of star power to the morning, Kylie Verzosa officially opened the run, her presence a fitting tribute to the occasion.

More Than a Milestone Moment
What made City Girls stand out wasn't just the turnout (though 100+ women strong is nothing to understate). It was the feeling in the air the laughter between strangers who became friends, the shared exhaustion that turned into shared pride, and the quiet understanding that doing something good for your body is always worth it.
Club1630 x &you has built something real here: a space where active women can gather without pretense, compete without pressure, and celebrate without limits.

Here's to More
City Girls is proof that Women's Month isn't just about reflection, it's about action. About lacing up, showing up, and running toward the version of yourself you're still becoming. To every woman who ran, cheered, volunteered, or simply showed up: this one was for you. And we're already looking forward to the next one.
